Do you have normal eating behaviour just by being normal weight?
No; eating behaviour does not become normal just because you are of a normal weight. Normal eating behaviour implies that you can feel both hunger and satiety, which means that you eat when you are hungry, you do not have any foods that you avoid, you can eat at normal hours, you can eat spontaneously, and that you can eat without feeling queasy or feeling anxiety. Normal feelings of hunger and satiety is what you learn during our treatment. When you learn to recognize hunger and satiety you will no longer be afraid of becoming fat, because you will be in control of your food intake. You will not have to guess when to eat and when to stop eating. It takes approximately 4-5 months to normalize an eating behaviour with the help of Mandometer®.
